I tried learning something. I started it. I was learning it well for almost a week and a half, then I saw a shinier toy and wanted to learn that, so I started learning it. I learnt it for almost a week, and then I jumped to another one. It's been almost 3 weeks, and I am already on the third thing. It's hard to consistently learn something because at the start it is very fun, but the more time you decide to put into it, the more boring it gets. Like when you get to the nitty-gritty, it gets harder. Just thinking about going back to the first one feels like I am doing the same thing again, but jumping to the first thing doesn't feel good either, so I am like, why am I even thinking about jumping now?

I have to settle down, stop worrying about everything at once, and not get lazy while I am learning, so I can focus on whatever I want to get done. The thing is, whatever I want to get done isn't a short-term task. Whatever I plan for is like a 3-4 month task at the least, and I know breaking things down into smaller goals works, but I am extremely bad at breaking things down. Like, even if I do, I'll be like, " Wait, this is an inefficient way of doing it ", so I'll try to overengineer things around it without focusing on the actual problem. Got to fix this.
